Snowboard Colorado Magazine is a free regional magazine that covers the industry, riders, gear and lifestyle of snowboarding. The mag ran 6 issues from September to February each winter. Think to Make jumped in on the fourth year and volume of the publication. Because it was a free magazine—it didn’t have to play by the same rules as its fellow periodicals on the local bookstore shelveswe decided to have fun with the cover and switch it up each issue. We also played with shifting the paper stock throughout the magazine from thick matte to glossy, giving a tactile experience and putting emphasis on certain content.
